Small ship cruises along the charming Croatian coastline and islands on the lavishly designed, fully air-conditioned vessels. The Kvarner Bay treasures islands of unique beauty and diversity. Embark on the journey of discovery, and spend eight unforgettable days cruising the north Adriatic Sea from one island to another. Savour delicious cuisine, enjoy beautiful sights, dip into the cleanest seawater and let the tranquillity fulfil your soul and sharpen your senses. Every day offers new opportunities and enough time at leisure to explore a new island, antique churches, various historical monuments, and feel the authentic small island way of life.
Departure at 14:00h with lunch served on board. Late arrivals can join the cruise in Krk Town, located on the namesake island. On the way, enjoy a refreshing swim stop in some of the clearest waters you’ll ever see. Krk Island is a blend of charming villages, scenic promenades, dramatic rocky landscapes, and countless hidden coves and beaches. The waterfront in Krk Town buzzes with energy, perfect for unwinding in one of the lively bars or restaurants. In the afternoon, take a bus excursion to Vrbnik, a picturesque hilltop village famous for its wine, where you’ll enjoy a wine tasting experience. Overnight in Krk Town.
After breakfast, cruise towards Rab, famously known as the “island of love.” Upon arrival, join a guided walking tour through the historic town to discover its imposing stone walls, Romanesque towers, elegant churches, palaces, and narrow stone streets. The open-air vibe continues with local artists painting and displaying their work along the charming squares and alleys. Be sure to try the legendary “Rapska Torta” (Rab Cake), a local delicacy with a secret recipe. If weather permits, enjoy a leisurely walk through the beautiful centuries-old Komrčar Park and catch a lovely sunset. Overnight in Rab.
Morning cruise from Rab to Zadar, passing by Pag Island, known for its barren, moonlike terrain. Enjoy a swim stop near Maun Island, then continue to Zadar, once the ancient metropolis of Dalmatia. Upon arrival, join a guided tour of this historic gem. Highlights include the 1st-century Roman Forum, St. Donatus Church (9th century), and the mighty city walls with the impressive Port and Land Gates from the 16th century. Zadar’s lively centre is dotted with noble palaces, churches, and villas, plus plenty of sea-view restaurants and bars. Don’t miss the Sea Organ, a musical marvel played by the waves, and the nearby Greeting to the Sun light installation. Overnight in Zadar.
Today, explore the breathtaking Kornati region, home to the famous Kornati National Park. This archipelago of 140 islands and reefs is known for its rich marine life, steep white cliffs, and historic remnants: Illyrian fortresses, Roman villas, an early Christian church, and medieval ruins scattered across the islands. The rugged beauty of Kornati is a true wonder, with dramatic landscapes plunging into the sea and razor-sharp inlets sculpted by nature. If weather and timing allow, you may walk to the white cliffs and visit the saltwater lake “Mir.” Dinner on board and overnight in Telašćica Bay, nestled on Dugi Otok.
After breakfast and a morning swim, cruise towards Lošinj, famously known as “the Sunshine Island” thanks to its high number of sunny days, lush pine forests, wildflowers, and aromatic herbs. With its secluded coves and relaxed Mediterranean charm, Lošinj is one of the most beloved islands in the northern Adriatic. Upon arrival, enjoy time at leisure and explore Mali Lošinj. Consider visiting the Museum of Apoxyomenos, dedicated to the remarkable ancient bronze statue of an athlete discovered in the sea near the island. For those up for a walk, Lošinj’s Aromatic Garden and the quaint town of Veli Lošinj are both nearby and easily explored on foot. Overnight in Mali Lošinj.
Morning swim, then set sail for Cres Island, with a possible swim stop at Susak, weather permitting. Cres is a rugged and unspoiled island, long and narrow, covered with olive groves, vineyards, and dense forests of oak and beech. Ancient stone walls still crisscross the island’s wild landscapes. Interestingly, Cres and Lošinj were once a single island before the Romans dug a narrow channel to separate them. In the evening, enjoy the Captain's Dinner on board, complete with live music. Overnight in Cres.
After breakfast, cruise towards Opatija, with its famous Riviera best admired from the sea. A swim stop and lunch on board are scheduled en route. Arrive in Opatija in the late afternoon. Enjoy free time to explore the charm of this elegant seaside town—stroll the longest seaside promenade in Croatia, the Lungomare, or wander to Volosko, a traditional fishing village brimming with excellent bars and restaurants. Overnight in the port of Opatija.
Gather for one final breakfast, followed by heartfelt goodbyes with your fellow travellers and the crew, before disembarkation in Opatija.
