When to Travel: Mediterranean cruises typically operate from April through to October, but within this Spring (Apr to Jun) and Autumn (Sep to Oct) are popular times to travel when
the weather is mild and pleasant and crowds are fewer. Summer (Jul to Aug) is a popular time for swimming and beach visits and enjoying the vibrant nightlife, though it can be hot, crowded, and more expensive.
Duration: 5 to 20 days depending on how many destinations you’d like to fit into your trip.
When to book: At least a year in advance for more popular itineraries, which tend to sell out. September is the most popular month to travel, and the first month to book out.
Pre-/Post- Cruise Options:
In Croatia we can offer some 3 to 4 night land packages.
- Other handy tips?
Avoid travel in August, which is the hottest month and when most locals are on holidays themselves. - Many of our options in Greece and Croatia are half board, so breakfast and lunch will be included onboard, and clients can enjoy dinner at a local restaurant onshore.
- In several Croatian ports, clients must cross between moored ships. While crew are available to assist, some passengers may need to take special care.
- Take the train where you can - not only are they efficient and well serviced, it also beats getting stuck in traffic!
