When to Travel:
Spring (Mar to May) and autumn (Sep to Nov) seasons. Spring offers pleasant weather and the stunning beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom. Autumn is characterised by mild temperatures and vibrant fall foliage. Both seasons avoid the extreme heat of summer and the cold of winter.

Pre-/Post- Cruise Options:



  • A few days in a hotel before or after your cruise can complement your holiday in Japan, especially if you choose to stay in a ryokan. These traditional Japanese inns feature bamboo mat floors and futon bedding, offering an authentic and immersive experience.

  • If time allows, you might also want to experience a ride on the shinkansen, which is the bullet train and reaches a speed of up to 320km/h


When to Book:
It is recommended to book at least a few months in advance to ensure a good selection of itineraries and to secure your preferred cabin. Cruises often fill up quickly, especially when airlines announce sales.
