Other handy tips?
- If you’re looking to avoid the crowds, opt for a smaller vessel that may be able to bypass the larger ports. Several of our operators, for example, use the smaller Marina Zeas in Athens, allowing you to get out onto the water faster.
- Pack appropriately. Bring proper hiking boots for countryside walks and sturdy footwear for cobblestone streets. While most restaurants are casual, some of the more fashionable
spots require smart attire. - Stay hydrated. Particularly in the peak of summer, the Greek sun can be stifling. Tap water on many islands may not be safe to drink, so it’s a good idea to carry your water bottle with you.
