WHERE TO VISIT
Alaska’s Inside passage: A narrow strip of coastline and a large archipelago of over 1,000 islands constitute this unique region, which boasts some of the world’s most remarkable geography, as well as a myriad land and marine mammals.
Glacier Bay National Park: Glacier Bay contains eight tidewater glaciers, and provides pristine habitat for a wide-array of wildlife, including both brown and Black Bears, wolves, Mountain Goats, Steller Sea Lions and Humpback Whales.
Tracy Arm Fjord: This glacial fjord is renowned for its pristine waterfalls, towering icebergs and cliffs that rise from the sea. At 50km long and averaging just over a kilometre wide, small ships navigate the length of the arm with Zodiac excursions providing the opportunity up-close encounters.
Misty Fjord National Monument: This monument is noted for its steep cliff walls, lush vegetation, and array of Southeast Alaska wildlife species.
Aleutian Islands: These islands comprise a slender stretch of coastline and an expansive archipelago consisting of over 1,000 islands, forming a distinctive region celebrated for its extraordinary geography and diverse population of marine mammals and seabirds.

When to Travel: May to September. Expect daytime temperatures between 12° and 18°C with nighttime five degrees cooler (although in summer there is daylight most of the time). Temperatures rarely exceed 24°C, even in mid-summer. Southeast Alaska weather is influenced by its maritime climate, high mountains, and extensive glacier coverage.
Duration: The 8-day voyage which incorporates Glacier Bay National Park is our most popular itinerary. For a more extensive Alaskan adventure, there are trips of up to 15 days, which can even take in the Aleutian Islands.
When to Book: It's recommended to book more than 6 months in advance as dates book out quickly particularly for the peak period June - August
Pre-/Post- Cruise Options: Depending on the length and interests of your trip, you may start (or end) your journey at Juneau, Sitka or Ketchikan, with flights in and out of Southeast Alaska from Seattle.
