Starting from Salamina, an 8-day gulet cruise through the Saronic Gulf offers a relaxed journey among some of Greece’s most charming islands close to Athens. The route typically includes stops at Aegina, famous for its pistachios and the ancient Temple of Aphaia, the green island of Poros with its picturesque harbor, the elegant car-free island of Hydra known for its stone mansions and artistic heritage, and the historic island of Spetses with beautiful beaches and a lively waterfront. Hydra is the island of Greek naval traditions and played a significant role in the 1821 War of Independence, with preserved captain’s mansions on the seafront by the quaint Old Harbour, and a thriving town that remains the heart of commercial life on the island.
On the fifth day of our ocean cruising, we sail towards a revered gem of the Aegean – the Ermioni village. With a traditional pebbled road, lined up with cozy tavernas, Ermioni has its charm.. However, its compact size and layout means it’s just as easy to navigate on foot, where you can stroll its romantic cobble-stoned backstreets and narrow village walkways.
We will moor at the tiny fishing village of Perdika, perched on the idyllic eastern shores of Aegina Island, known for its temple of Athena Aphaia.

As we come back in full circle to Athens, this is our departure day, where you’ll be saying goodbye to your new friends and your crew.
