• Witness massive marine iguana colonies and rare bird species up close
• Explore dramatic volcanic landscapes, lava fields, and red-sand beaches
After arriving at Baltra Airport, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to the M/C Monique.
In the afternoon, explore Las Bachas, a beautiful white-sand beach known for sea turtle nesting sites and remnants of WWII barges. Enjoy an easy walk and relaxed snorkeling in this scenic area.
Start the day at Rábida Island with its striking red-sand beach, cactus groves, and chance sightings of flamingos and pelican nests. Enjoy a moderate-level walk, dinghy ride, kayaking, and snorkeling.
In the afternoon, visit Punta Albemarle on Isabela Island, featuring mangrove channels and wildlife such as flightless cormorants and the largest marine iguanas in the Galápagos. Activities here are easier and include a dinghy ride and kayaking.
In the morning, take a dinghy ride around Vicente Roca Point, where dramatic coves and rich waters attract whales, dolphins, sea lions, and nesting birds. Snorkeling here is a highlight.
Later, explore Tagus Cove. Ride along cliffs to spot penguins and seabirds, then hike for panoramic views of Darwin Lake and the surrounding volcanic scenery.
Explore Fernandina’s Espinoza Point, with its lava landscapes, sea lions, penguins, and massive colonies of marine iguanas. Moderate walking and snorkeling are offered.
In the afternoon, visit Urbina Bay, known for its land iguanas and upraised coral beds. Wildlife such as giant tortoises and blue-footed boobies is often seen here during moderate walking and snorkeling.
At Puerto Egas, walk along black-sand beaches and volcanic formations to spot marine iguanas, shorebirds, and possibly fur seals resting in shaded grottos. Snorkeling is also available.
In the afternoon, explore Buccaneer Cove by dinghy, kayak, or on foot. This former pirate hideout now draws wildlife like nesting turtles, sea lions, boobies, and pelicans.
Climb to the summit of Bartholomew Island for stunning views over volcanic terrain and Pinnacle Rock. Snorkel at the beach with chances to see penguins, reef sharks, and eagle rays.
Next, visit nearby Sullivan Bay, where beaches and shallow waters are ideal for snorkeling. Sea turtles nest here, and penguins may also be spotted.
Start at North Seymour, where low vegetation is home to blue-footed boobies, swallow-tailed gulls, and magnificent frigatebirds. Enjoy walking, snorkeling, and a dinghy ride.
In the afternoon, visit Mosquera Islet, a flat sandy island ideal for exploring freely. A large sea lion colony lives here, and the snorkeling reveals rays, turtles, and reef sharks.
Your final morning visit is to the Charles Darwin Research Station and its tortoise breeding center in Puerto Ayora. Learn about conservation efforts and see tortoises up close.
After the visit, you’ll be transferred to Baltra Airport for your flight back to mainland Ecuador.
