Southern Croatia from Trogir (Split) - Premium cruise

Check-in from 11:00h in Trogir harbour. At 13:00h departure from Trogir harbour southwards towards Makarska (late arrivals can join in Makarska). Lunch is served while cruising along the Dalmatian coast. Afternoon swim stop in one of the secluded bays en route. Enjoy Makarska in the evening – stroll along its lively waterfront promenade lined with cafés and bars, or explore the main square with its impressive church and historic buildings. Check-in from 11:00 in Trogir. Departure at 13:00, followed by lunch on board and a refreshing swim stop in a secluded bay. Continue towards Hvar, Croatia’s sunniest island, renowned for its elegant Venetian architecture, lively squares and vibrant waterfront. Guests travelling with the Katarina Voyage Collection will enjoy an included guided tour of Hvar Town, followed by time to explore at their own pace. In case of limited berthing availability in Hvar, the vessel may overnight in Stari Grad, one of Croatia’s oldest towns, known for its charming historic centre and relaxed island atmosphere. Early morning departure towards Mljet, with a swim stop on the Pelješac Peninsula. Part of Mljet Island is a national park (entrance fee to be paid on the spot). In the afternoon, plan to visit its seawater lakes, the peaceful, tiny St Mary’s Island in the middle of the large lake, the church and the monastery. Walk or hire a bike to explore these stunning lakes. Overnight in the port of Polača or Pomena. (B,L)

Cruise south towards the lush island of Mljet, enjoying a swim stop along the way. Part of the island is protected as a national park (entrance fee payable locally), famous for its tranquil salt lakes and the Benedictine monastery on St. Mary's Islet. Explore by bicycle, kayak or on foot and immerse yourself in one of Croatia's most beautiful natural landscapes. Overnight on Mljet.

After breakfast, depart towards Dubrovnik, the most famous town in Croatia and, for many, the highlight of this cruise. The Irish writer George Bernard Shaw called Dubrovnik “heaven on earth”. Unbelievable views of the surroundings along the way, enjoy and admire the beautiful stretch of the coast. Upon arrival, explore on your own or join a guided city tour, followed by an optional cable car ride up to the Srđ mountain for spectacular views of the old town. Do not miss Stradun – both a street and a square in the Old Town- and walk at least part of the 1.940 m long city walls that have protected Dubrovnik during earthquakes and attacks! After breakfast, cruise towards magnificent Dubrovnik, approaching the city from the sea for unforgettable views of its iconic medieval walls. Upon arrival, join an included guided walking tour of the UNESCO-listed Old Town (included for Katarina Voyage and Adriatic Collections). Afterwards, enjoy time to explore at your own pace, stroll along Stradun, walk the famous city walls or take the cable car to Mt. Srđ for spectacular panoramic views. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Late morning departure towards the island of Sipan or the small town of Trstenik on the Peljesac Peninsula. Gorgeous spots for an afternoon swim and time at leisure with the possibility of visiting a local winery. In the evening enjoy the special Captain’s dinner on board. (B,L,CD)

Depart Dubrovnik and sail north, stopping for a refreshing swim in one of the secluded bays along the way. Depending on local conditions and berthing availability, the afternoon destination will be Sipan, the largest of the Elaphiti Islands, or Trstenik, a peaceful village on the Pelješac Peninsula surrounded by vineyards and crystal-clear waters. Whichever port welcomes you, enjoy time to discover its relaxed atmosphere and authentic coastal character. In the evening, gather on board for the Captain’s Dinner with live entertainment. Overnight in Sipan or Trstenik.

After breakfast, depart towards the Island of Korčula, one of the famous islands in the Dubrovnik region. It’s the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Lunch on board in a bay near the Korčula town. The encircling town walls and bastions date back to the 13th Century and there are some lovely churches and museums. Join the optional sightseeing of the Korčula town or optional wine and local appetizer tasting at a local winery before dining in one of the numerous seafront restaurants or konobas on your own. Overnight in one of the ports of Korčula, depending on availability (main port in the town centre/ port of Dominče / ferry port (3 km away). (B,L)

Cruise towards Korcula, a beautifully preserved medieval town traditionally known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Upon arrival, join a guided walking tour through the atmospheric old town (included for Katarina Voyage Collection), discovering its stone walls, historic landmarks and distinctive fishbone street layout. Afterwards, enjoy the evening at your own pace among Korcula’s charming squares, traditional taverns, wine bars and waterfront cafés. Overnight in Korcula.

Early departure towards the Paklinski Islands near Hvar (the longest island in the Adriatic) for lunch and a swimming stop. Later, there is an optional afternoon sightseeing of Hvar, which resembles a film set. The Renaissance cathedral has its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe, founded in 1612. For those in good shape, Hvar offers an additional challenge - on the hill above the town, the fortress Španjola has dominated for centuries, strong and stable. Discover history once again, this time from a new dimension! Restless individuals always looking for fun will also find their empire here - numerous restaurants and bars open late into the night. After breakfast, cruise north with a refreshing swim stop in one of the beautiful bays along the way. Continue towards Makarska, dramatically set between the Adriatic Sea and the slopes of the Biokovo mountain range. Spend the afternoon strolling along the palm-lined promenade, exploring the old town or simply enjoying the lively Mediterranean atmosphere. Overnight in Makarska.

The next stop is the island of Brač. Bol is a typical fishermen’s village but also a popular
tourist destination. Visit the famous Zlatni Rat beach, renowned for its ever-changing
shape. Enjoy a walk through the pine forest from Bol to the Golden Horn beach or ride the
tourist train (additional fee). After lunch, cruise towards Trogir. Approaching the UNESCOlisted
town by sea offers beautiful views of its medieval skyline rising above the waterfront.
Upon early afternoon arrival, enjoy free time to explore its narrow marble streets, historic
squares and lively promenade, . Overnight in Trogir. (B,L)

Depart Makarska and cruise towards the island of Brac, stopping for a refreshing swim in one of its beautiful bays. Enjoy lunch on board as the journey continues along the Dalmatian coast towards Trogir. Upon arrival, spend your final afternoon exploring this UNESCO World Heritage town, wandering through its maze of medieval streets, historic squares and picturesque waterfront promenade. Enjoy your final evening at your own pace before the last overnight on board. Overnight in Trogir.
