Arrive at Sorong to a warm welcome. There will be a private transfer to Aston Sorong Hotel to rest and relax, before embarkation at noon. Board Aqua Blu and cruise to Thousand Temples karst island complex while enjoying the world-class cuisine of chef Benjamin Cross for dinner.
Wake up to the magnificent Thousand Temples karst island and lagoon complex. In the morning, we explore mysterious jellyfish lakes and karst island seascapes, witnessing ancient rock art before touring the magnificent caverns of Tomolol Cave. After lunch, we head out to Yillet – an island featuring some of the world’s most iconic diving and snorkeling sites, before returning to Aqua Blu for a sunset sail to Daram.
Explore the colorful coral reefs of Daram, renowned for its multiple dive and snorkel sites. Featuring Andiamo, Candy Store, and Andys Ultimate, there’s a site fit for anyone – no matter their experience level. Take a leisurely walk through Daram’s uninhabited beaches and catch sight of endangered green and hawksbill turtles. As the sun sets, lay back and enjoy bespoke cocktails at Aqua Blu’s private beach club.
Witness the sparkling coral reefs and beaches of the verdant Sabuda island as the sun rises. Jump in for a refreshing morning swim and discover the reef’s abundant marine life. At The Dome dive and snorkel site, expect to see large schools of tropical fish and even the occasional manta ray. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing stroll along the beach, drinks in hand, while taking in the enthralling views of the Pacific.
Bask in the views of Neptune’s Sea Fan; a limestone passage on the south of Misool, where an early morning kayak excursion awaits. After breakfast, a dive and snorkel in the passage’s blue pools presents an opportunity to witness some of the finest reefs on the planet. In the afternoon, we visit the remote Fibiacet Island – home to some of Indonesia’s most biodiverse waters – before returning to Aqua Blu for sundowners.
Head out early in the morning to the lush forests of Kapatcol, home to the Lesser and King birds of paradise. After the morning’s bird-watching excursion, plunge into the surrounding lapis lazuli waters for a refreshing dive or snorkel. In the afternoon, we visit the remote Blue Water Mangroves and Crocodile River in search of saltwater crocodiles basking in the sun. Cap off the day with a tender tour of the mangrove channels with cocktails and canapes.
The penultimate day begins with a kayak exploration of Boo Island’s shimmering lagoons and waterways. In the afternoon, we head off to Kofiau Island, which boasts some of the highest diversity of marine life recorded worldwide. Test your sense of adventure once more as you explore the underwater world of Raja Ampat one last time this expedition.
