The Big Apple, on the East Coast of North America, is the most populous city in the United States, with over eight million inhabitants. World-famous landmarks and towering skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building or One World Trade Center characterise the Manhattan skyline, while Central Park offers a green oasis and plenty of space for recreation. The city that never sleeps also boasts a vibrant cultural scene: around 1,500 art galleries, approximately 100 museums, countless theatres and more than 23,000 restaurants make New York one of the most exciting travel destinations in the world.

Bermuda appears like a distant promise in the deep blue of the North Atlantic – a British archipelago that has captured the imagination for centuries as the northernmost point of the mystical Bermuda Triangle. Around 360 coral islands belong to this archipelago, only around 20 of which are permanently inhabited. The largest island, Grand Bermuda, forms the vibrant heart of the group. This is where you will find the charming capital city of Hamilton, where British elegance and American casual flair combine to create a unique lifestyle. Bermuda is famous for its fantastic beaches, where the soft pink sand feels like powder under your feet. In the midst of this paradise, subtropical landscapes stretch out with dense mangrove forests, mysterious caves and lush greenery. Above and below the water’s surface, several national parks invite you to explore – whether on a walk along spectacular cliffs or snorkelling through colourful reefs teeming with life.

Saint-Barthelemy, also known as St Barts, is a living legend among the Caribbean islands. The small capital, Gustavia, attracts visitors with impressive yachts in the harbour and the cosmopolitan jet set that has settled here since the 1950s. The island, which covers 21 km² (8.1 mi.²), impresses with its palm-fringed beaches such as the quiet Plage de Saline, the Anse du Gouverneur with its crystal-clear water and the lively Plage de Colombier. Gustavia itself invites you to discover its luxury boutiques and world-class restaurants – a perfect blend of Caribbean beauty and exclusive luxury that makes St Barts one of the most desirable travel destinations in the world.

Welcome to Roseau, the lively capital of Dominica. Nestled amidst breathtaking natural surroundings, it delights visitors with its charming blend of tropical beauty, colonial heritage and warm hospitality. Colourful houses line the streets, the hustle and bustle of the markets exudes Caribbean zest for life, and the scent of spices and fresh fruit wafts from every lane. Here, adventure begins right on your doorstep: whether it’s hiking through the rainforest, bathing in hot volcanic sulphur springs or an excursion to the spectacular Trafalgar Falls. In the evenings, you can relax in cafes, rum shops and music bars and reflect on your perfect day on the island while enjoying Creole cuisine and local sounds.

Surrounded by white sandy beaches and green hills, Marigot Bay is one of the most idyllic bays in the Caribbean: it invites you to swim, snorkel and relax and is a popular place for sailors to drop anchor. Charming restaurants line the shore and offer a selection of local and international cuisine. Its peaceful atmosphere makes Marigot Bay the perfect retreat for enjoying the beauty of nature and the Caribbean way of life.

The Caribbean island of Bequia enchants with breathtaking scenery: protected bays, white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and a diverse natural environment with hills, coastal forests and coconut plantations make it one of the most beautiful islands of St Vincent and the Grenadines. The capital, Port Elizabeth, on the extensive Admiralty Bay, is a popular spot for yachts to drop anchor and the perfect starting point for sailing trips through the Grenadines. The long lay time extends your impressions into the evening.

Bonaire, the second-largest of the Caribbean ABC islands, offers a mixture of colourful nature and a fascinating underwater world. The name of its capital Kralendijk translates as “coral dyke”, which refers to the fantastic coral world that stretches off the coast in the Bonaire National Marine Park. While the hilly north of the island boasts exotic species of birds and tropical vegetation in the Washington-Slagbaai National Park, the Pekelmeer Flamingo Sanctuary in the flat south attracts nature lovers with one of the largest flamingo colonies in the world. Bonaire is a paradise for snorkellers and explorers alike.

Aruba’s reputation as a paradise precedes the island by far. In the south-west, endless white beaches shimmer, gently lapped by the turquoise sea. In the north-east, however, rugged rocky coasts and barren cactus landscapes characterise the wild and romantic landscape. Oranjestad, the lively capital, is also located in the midst of this picturesque backdrop, its candy-coloured houses in Dutch colonial style shining in the sun. Stroll through elegant shopping streets and let yourself be enchanted by the Caribbean flair. If you’re looking for an original photo motif, you’ll find it at the Stadhuis: the bright-green-and-white town hall is a real gem. Fancy a break on the beach? Then the palm-fringed beaches of Druif Beach and Manchebo Beach are not far away.

The famous Ocean Drive runs through the historic art deco district of South Beach with over 800 well-preserved houses from the 1930s and 1940s. The neighbouring beach, with its fine white sand and turquoise Atlantic Ocean, is not only a paradise for sun worshippers, but also a stage for the city’s colourful hustle and bustle. In Wynwood, Miami shows its creative personality – in the former warehouses, the famous Wynwood Walls are an open-air gallery displaying impressive street art from all over the world. Just a few blocks away, in the lively Little Havana neighbourhood, the Cuban heart of the city beats vibrantly: full of salsa rhythms, cigar shops and cafes serving strong Cuban coffee. When the sun goes down, Miami begins to vibrate – rooftop bars open their terraces and live music fills the streets.
