Leave the January blues far behind as you sail from Florida into a Caribbean adventure. The blue cobblestones of San Juan welcome you to Puerto Rico, and every day after that reveals a new island, from the designer boutiques of St. Barts to the wilderness of Dominica and St. Lucia, where geothermal mud baths bubble and the iconic Pitons rise. Finish on the Caribbean home of rum, Barbados.

• Experience St Lucia’s volcanic wonders – Discover Soufrière’s geothermal mud baths and the iconic Pitons, with opportunities to explore the island’s dramatic volcanic landscapes and natural beauty.

• Explore Caribbean culture and island life – Wander San Juan’s distinctive blue cobblestone streets, discover the heritage of Basseterre and St John’s, and finish in Barbados, renowned for its rum-making traditions and vibrant island culture.

Fort Lauderdale is a canal-laced city known as the Venice of America, with miles of sandy beaches and a lively promenade of red-brick tiles running along its length. The swampy wetlands of the Everglades, the USA's largest tropical wetlands, sprawl nearby, home to alligators, crocodiles, black bears, panthers, and wading birds. Las Olas Boulevard is lined with upscale shops, restaurants, and art galleries.

Days at sea are the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and pursue personal interests, whether visiting the gym, the spa, or simply watching for whales from deck. These blue sea days offer an ideal balance to busy days spent exploring ashore.

Days at sea are the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and pursue personal interests, whether visiting the gym, the spa, or simply watching for whales from deck. These blue sea days offer an ideal balance to busy days spent exploring ashore.

Old San Juan is the oldest city under US jurisdiction, its pastel facades and blue cobblestone streets enclosed by 16th-century Spanish fortifications. El Morro and San Cristóbal — together a UNESCO World Heritage Site — kept Drake's fleet and Caribbean pirates at bay for centuries, and today anchor a historic district of exceptional beauty and atmospheric depth.

Set along the southwestern coast of St. Kitts, Basseterre blends Caribbean charm with a rich colonial heritage. Historic churches, elegant public squares, and colorful streets reveal the city's French and British past, while lush rainforests and volcanic peaks rise beyond the harbor. Anchored by the nearby UNESCO-listed Brimstone Hill Fortress, Basseterre offers a compelling introduction to the island's culture, history, and natural beauty.

The capital of St. Barthélemy, Gustavia unfolds around a horseshoe-shaped harbor where Caribbean charm meets European sophistication. Historic forts and red-roofed buildings reflect the island's Swedish heritage, while luxury boutiques, waterfront cafés, and gleaming yachts lend the town its cosmopolitan allure. Framed by turquoise waters and hillside vistas, Gustavia remains the elegant heart of St. Barts.

Antigua’s capital introduces the island in full Caribbean color, with lively streets, colonial traces, and a harbor framed by yachts and brilliant blue water. Beyond the city lie the beaches and historic forts that have made Antigua famous, but St. John’s itself offers markets, local energy, and an appealing sense of movement between past and present. It is a spirited gateway to an island where sunshine, sailing, and history share the same shoreline; for cruise travelers, it offers an arrival rich in atmosphere, beauty, and a strong sense of place.

Roseau is the capital of Dominica, an island more mountain and rainforest than beach, and prouder of that fact than almost any other in the Caribbean. The waterfront market, the 18th-century Fort Young, and the colorful Creole architecture of the old town give the compact city a vivid, lived-in energy. But Dominica's extraordinary natural identity unfolds inland: the Valley of Desolation, Boiling Lake, the Middleham Falls, and some of the most biodiverse forest in the region reward those who travel beyond the harbor.

Framed by rainforest and the soaring twin Pitons, Soufrière showcases Saint Lucia at its most dramatic and lush. This former Caribbean capital is surrounded by volcanic springs, botanical gardens, waterfalls, and richly textured coastline, creating a landscape that feels both tropical and elemental. Whether viewed from the sea or explored inland, it leaves a lasting impression of beauty shaped by fire, water, and a generous abundance of green; the kind of port that lingers in the memory, not through spectacle alone but through texture and mood.

Bridgetown blends Barbados’s British colonial legacy with the easy brightness of the Caribbean, creating a capital that feels both historic and warmly lived in. UNESCO-listed buildings, lively streets, and rum-soaked traditions sit close to white-sand beaches and clear tropical water, giving the city an appeal that extends well beyond the harbor. A stop here offers culture as well as sunshine, inviting you to discover an island capital shaped by resilience, character, and sea light under the easy warmth of Barbados light.
