Join the cruise in the mesmerizing city of Dubrovnik. If you arrive early you can leave your luggage on board while you stroll around the old city of Dubrovnik. Portions of its city wall date back to the 13th century and encircle the old town with a circumference of more than 1.5 miles. You might want to take a walk along its length for a spectacular panorama of the town. Returning to your ship, meet your Cruise Director and the crew, then enjoy your first dinner on board. A meal will be provided for late comers on board. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
The town of Kotor is set in the stunning Gulf of Kotor, actually the largest fjord in southern Europe. Upon arrival to Kotor we will be transferred to small tour boats waiting to take us on a scenic tour of the bay and to visit the ancient and UNESCO Heritage protected town of Perast with its Church of the Lady of the Rocks church, situated on a tiny islet just in front of Perast. Join a guided stroll around Kotor with your guide shows off its distinctive Medieval architecture and historic monuments. This UNESCO World Natural and Historical Heritage site is home to myriad churches, including Sveti Tripun, or the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, built in 1166 and a symbol of the city. Then there’s time to explore on your own. Overnight in Kotor.
Enjoy breakfast while we cruise to Korcula. On arrival we will take a walking tour of Korcula. Korcula Island is one of the largest islands in the Adriatic. Swim stop in one of the beautiful bays, perfect to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the unspoiled nature, lush vegetation and crystal-clear sea with lunch onboard. Upon our afternoon arrival in Korčula we shall be taken on an interesting tour along the winding streets of this lovely town. After the tour, enjoy some free time to sip a glass of local wine or coffee at an outdoor cafe, take a dip in the sea or just leisurely stroll along the streets. Overnight in Korčula.
Cruise from Korcula to Split, stopping for a swim en-route in a secluded bay. Split is dominated by the remains of the massive palace of Emperor Diocletian, which is now part of the fabric of central Split. The Palace is mostly still standing and is now a pedestrian zone with an extraordinary mix of ancient monuments, restaurants, temples, hotels, houses, ruins, cafes, museums and shops. Overnight in Split.
From Split we will take a short bus ride to Krka National Park where you can cool off in the cool crystal-clear waterfalls of the Krka river, one of the jewels of Croatia’s natural beauty. We continue to Šibenik where you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of its beautiful ancient streets with the beautiful St. James Cathedral, one of if not the most important architectural monuments of the Renaissance in Croatia. From Sibenik we sail to Zadar, another walled medieval town where we will have a guided walk that will introduce you to Zadar’s rich history and the plethora of monuments and hidden corners it has to offer. Spend the night in Zadar.
We depart to Pula in the morning and continue our journey north. After a morning of sailing and beautiful sights with lunch onboard, we will reach Pula, known for its multitude of ancient Roman buildings, the most famous of which is the Pula Arena, one of the best preserved Roman amphitheaters. Overnight in Pula
Morning sail towards Venice - we will visit Brijuni National Park en route and take lunch onboard before we sail into the magnificent city of Venice - and what a way to arrive.
