Day 5 -Trondheim (Norway)
City of Viking kings and historic capital of Norway, Trondheim (Norway) is to be found in the largest of the Norwegian fjords. The city’s modern pedestrianised centre, historic districts, museums and Nidaros Cathedral, home to Norway’s crown jewels, make this a port of call not to be missed.

Day 6 - Ballstad (Norway)
A true journey in the middle of the fjords, you will discover a place of the most unique in the world, the Norwegian archipelago of the Lofoten Islands, north of the Arctic Circle.

Day 7 - Tromsö (Norway)
A former whale hunting capital of the Arctic, Tromsö (Norway) is better known these days as the Paris of the North. A young and vibrant city, it has retained its authentic cachet thanks to the typical yet not so common wooden dwellings. The Arctic Cathedral, whose stained glass windows are among the highest in Europe, and the polar museum, are just two of many sites worth a visit.

Day 8 - Honningsvag (Norway)
Last stop before the North Cape, here you will discover award-winning houses and listed buildings. Gateway to a vast kingdom of the Sami and their herds of reindeer, this great fishing port is home to the North Cape Museum illustrating the life of this region. thanks to the Gulf Stream the waters are ice-free and nature has a chance to flourish.

Aalesund’s (Norway) architectural style never fails to take visitors by surprise. Not far from here is Giske, the island where Rollon, the great Viking chief who commanded the Nordic expeditions to Normandy, was born, and the even more delightful island of Godoy. The village of Alnes offers a fabulous panoramic view of the Atlantic ocean and surrounding islands.
